Magnesium Bisglycinate

£26.57

90 Capsules

Ingredients

Magnesium Bisglycinate/Oxide, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (capsule)

A great form of Magnesium can be taken at any time of day with no concerns about its absorption. Magnesium (and calcium, zinc and selenium) is liable to become bound to compounds called phytates which are found in cereals.

These compounds bind to Magnesium making it much harder for the Magnesium to free itself at the correct time for absorption. In the Magnesium Bisglycinate, magnesium binds with glycine protecting it from making stronger attachments to other binding agents like phytates. It is thought that the weaker binding energy allows the magnesium to split from the double glycine attachment when absorption is about to occur.
